Ben Gets His Own Pool!

I got this little pool at Babies R Us and we put Ben in it the other day. He loved it! He is still working on the sitting up thing so the Bumbo was a big help..

Hmm, maybe you shouldn't drink the pool water Ben!

Forgot to rotate the pics for a change..

Think he likes it??

Evil mommy....

Daddy gets in on the party!

And all good times must come to an end.....

After all the excitement Ben took a nice long nap!

Great pics! How are you liking the Bumbo seat? Are you happy to have it? I remember a while back you had asked if it's a baby contraption that's really necessary (as us moms know, there are so many baby contraptions which are utterly useless!) So it looks like you're getting good use out of it. I'm happy with mine. I used it more than I thought I would.

Jamie, you look absolutely fabulous! Motherhood completely agrees with you! And your little boy, well he's just yummy! Keep up the good work, Mom and Dad!

Rebecca,

We borrowed this Bumbo from my sil and I think it is great. You were right that they need entertainment while in it and they won't just sit there and play happily. But what I love is that you don't have to strap them in. So when you need to put them down quick to run and do something or grab something or whatever else you can just quickly pop him in the seat and not worry about all the straps the other baby seats have.

Personally I think it is a must have for moms. And especially moms with more than one kid because I would imagine they ahve even MORE moments where they need to put the baby down quick and tend to something for the other child.

Great idea, the bumbo and the pool. I can't get over how red-headed Ben is?!

Has it been a long time since I visited your blog or is this a summer sun development?

ALison,

It's not just the summer sun. He is a redhead through and through. Although I will admit when outside in teh sun it really stands out as flaming red.

My mom's family is largely red (my mom and her two sisters and my grandfather all have/had red hair and apparently there were a few redheads in Cla's family too)
