Ben counting the buttons while I snapped my pictures....
Well I finally got around to sewing on some buttons and weaving in my ends on my Baby Surprise sweater. I made this for Anna, but it is ridiculously too small on her....so looks like Beatrice has a first birthday present awaiting her before she is even born. (plan to make Anna and Beatrice matching sweaters with cabled owls on the yoke, but it is a huge endeavor for me....perhaps I should just make a bigger BSJ for Anna to match this one?? LOL... ahhhh *sigh*)
As for my Stella Pixie hat....I would have finished the body of it by now except I had a major, "*gasp* I lost stitches off the end of my needle and I have no idea how to fix this" fiasco on Monday and had to wait until my Tuesday night knitting class to get help fixing it. But just a few more rows of the body then just the neck strap and buttonhole and whatever finishing odds and ends.
Still working through the Narnia series. I am on Voyage of the Dawntreader now...at Claudio's suggestion I am reading them in the British order (which is the order they were written) as opposed to the American order (which is chronological order).

At least it looks lovely. Glad that someone will use it. :) I was struck at how your son's hair coordinates so well with some of the colors in that sweater.
love the sweater! it is beautiful. i got the kids the narnia series not to long ago from a used bookstore, except i want to read them! never read them all as a kid, not sure which order to read them either, i am sorta a chronological girl...
:)

Ellen, my daughter has red hair too. That is why I loved this yarn for her. Hoping my next little girl is a redhead too!!
Jen,
Yeah i am generally chronological myself, but this is my bedtime reading so I didn't care enough to not take his advice ;)
Thanks for stopping by ladies!!
That is a gorgeous sweater.
That seems really strange to read the books in the order written, not in chronological order! Are you enjoying it?
Katherine have you read the series? Apparently they are basically still in order, but then prequels were written etc. So the American series starts with the Magician's Nephew....and this is the story of what happened BEFORE Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Also, CS Lewis wrote each book never assuming he would write another in the series. So reading them in the order he wrote them is reading them in the order he conceived the ideas.
I don't know, Cla says it works better this way and he is rarely wrong.
