Sometimes....when you have all been cooped up and are getting cranky, and you just got another foot of snow, and you are all sorta bored and wanting a treat.....you just have to make (egg free) chocolate frosted donuts.
LOL I don't think they even took me 20 minutes to make!! It is REALLY that easy! Heat some cooking oil (canola I think I used), open cannister of biscuits, stick your thumb through the center, once brown turn once to brown the other side, put on paper towel. While that was going on I put some chips and a little milk (totally guessed on the milk...the chips were looking a little dry so I just added milk till the chocolate looked smoothe) in my makeshift double boiler. Then I just hand dipped the "donuts" in the chocolate. And ohhhhhh my were they good! I have made them before and rolled teh donuts in cinnamon and sugar. That was also really good. But I think the chocolate was better.
Not sure if they are dairy free, but definitely check because so far all of their products are egg free...so I have been trying lots of recipes made with the biscuits or crescents etc. They make great substituted for the stuff we can't have with eggs.

How do you make such a delicacy?! Is it really as easy as Grands Biscuits and melted chocolate? How do you shape them?

They look absolutely delicious! And so simple! I will definitely have to try making some.
This is brilliant! I wonder if the Grands are dairy free too, that would be perfect. :) (for us)
